VenueX Bilişim Teknolojileri A.Ş. (VenueX, we) runs the website venuex.io. This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies the site uses, why we use them and how you control them. It adds to our Privacy policy and our KVKK notice.
Summary
- The site does not need cookies to work.
- We use Google Analytics only if you accept it in the cookie banner.
- We do not use advertising cookies, remarketing or social media pixels.
- You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.
What cookies and similar technologies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. Your browser sends it back to the website on your next visit. Browser local storage works in a similar way: a website stores a small piece of data in your browser and reads it later. This policy uses “cookies” for both.
Cookies we use
Strictly necessary: your cookie choice
| Name | Set by | Type | Purpose | How long it stays |
|---|---|---|---|---|
vx-consent |
VenueX | Local storage | Remembers if you accepted or rejected analytics, and when, so the banner does not show on every page. | 12 months, then the banner asks again |
This entry stores only your choice. It does not identify you, and the site does not send it anywhere. We need it to respect your choice, so we do not ask for consent for it.
Analytics: Google Analytics (only with your consent)
| Name | Set by | Type | Purpose | How long it stays |
|---|---|---|---|---|
_ga |
Cookie | Tells visits from different browsers apart. | 2 years | |
_ga_<ID> |
Cookie | Keeps the state of a visit (session). | 2 years |
Google Analytics shows us how people use the site, so we can improve it. With your consent, it records:
- the pages you view and how long you stay
- scrolling, clicks on links to other sites and video plays
- how you reached the site, for example from a search engine or a link
- your approximate location (country and city), device type, browser and language
- clicks on email links on the site
We do not send your name, email address or phone number to Google Analytics. Google receives your IP address with each request and uses it to work out your approximate location. According to Google, Google Analytics does not log or store IP addresses. Google Analytics keeps this data for 14 months, then deletes it.
The provider is Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. For visitors in the EU, Google Ireland Limited is also involved. See the Google Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Google Tag Manager
Google Tag Manager loads the analytics tag. It loads only after you accept, so nothing is sent to Google before you choose. Tag Manager itself sets no cookies on this site.
What we do not use
- No advertising, remarketing or social media cookies. On every page we tell Google that advertising use of your data is not allowed.
- Fonts, images and videos come from this website’s own domain (hosted by Cloudflare), not from third parties.
- The live demo at demo.venuex.io is run by VenueX. It asks for your work email and company name and uses PostHog for usage analytics, as our Privacy policy explains. Other sites we link to have their own policies.
Your choice
- First visit: the banner asks if you accept analytics. Until you choose, nothing is sent to Google. We ask again after 12 months.
- Accept: Google Analytics runs and sets the cookies above.
- Reject: Google Analytics does not set cookies. We keep only your choice.
- Change your choice: select Cookie settings at the bottom of any page. If you reject after you accepted, the site removes the Google Analytics cookies from your browser and stops Google Analytics.
- Browser settings: you can also block or delete cookies in your browser: Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge. If you clear the site’s data, the site also forgets your choice and asks again.
Transfers abroad
With your consent, Google receives the analytics data. Google LLC processes it in the United States. Türkiye has no adequacy decision for the United States. The transfer rests on the standard contract published by the Turkish Personal Data Protection Board, signed with Google and notified to the Board (Law No. 6698, Article 9). Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the standard contractual clauses of the EU apply to data of visitors in the EU.
Your rights
Under Article 11 of the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK) and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you can ask what data we process about you and ask us to correct or delete it. You can withdraw your consent at any time with Cookie settings. Our Privacy policy and KVKK notice explain your rights and how to use them.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when the site changes. The date at the top shows the last update.
